There were two excursion runs on the Santa Maria Valley Railroad today, both on the Silver Lariat (California Zephyr Railcar Charters).

SMVRR No. 1801 and the Silver Lariat enter the crossing at Broadway in downtown Santa Maria.

At the Stowell crossing.

Through the strawberry fields.

And the broccoli fields.

Crossing Simas Street.

Hooking up after the run around at Guadalupe for the return to the depot downtown.
