Speeders Arrive

The speeders started arriving this afternoon for tomorrow's North American Railcar Operators Association (NARCOA) Motorcar Operators West's (MOW's) run.

March 16, 17a, 17b, 17c, 18.

SMVRR General Manager Dave Jennings commented that the locomotive was no sooner back in the enginehouse and tied down for the day than the speeders started arriving late in the afternoon.

Some of the speeders are equipped with a built in "turntable" that lifts them off the ground and allows them to be rotated around.
